"Yellow dominates this related scheme," the copy says. But that's an understatement. Hitler dominated Poland. (Obligatory comment: "You know who else liked mustard? The Nazis.) Georgia Tech dominated Cumberland. This isn't so much a domination as it is a cellular-level takeover that the Ebola virus can only dream of. Thanks to me, your monitor will forevermore have a slight tinge of French's.

I like how the book's author felt the need to write, "Yellow dominates this related scheme," as if it wouldn't be obvious to anyone with retinas. It's a bit like saying, "World War II was a bit of an altercation."

"Now I know."
Yeah, that room could be the reason for what the legal minds call "justifiable homicide."

The other day I was listening to someone on the radio discuss the story of "Oedipus Rex". (There was a reason - really - I just can't remember what it was...) Anyway, when they got to the "and then he poked his own eyes out with his mother's brooch" part I wondered how anyone could ever, ever do that no matter what the circumstances were.
Now I know.

I think that's the backgammon board from the Valley of the Jolly (Ho-Ho-Ho) Yellow Giant.

Ow ow ow ow ow! You've done it again, Jim.
Who the aitch-ee-double-hockey-sticks had the nerve to make that backgammon board!

Is there some kind of jungle theme in that room? Maybe Vietnam after an "Agent Orange" attack...
